The Nigerian Reunion Corporation is a global organization whose primary purpose is to promote and strengthen the unity and honor of Nigerians and Nigerian descendants in the diaspora. The Nigerian Reunion Corporation exists for the betterment of Nigerian people, Nigerian descendants and Nigerian Communities The Nigerian Reunion Corporation draws on its broad cultural diversity to facilitate professional and academic development, along with personal growth. Through effective communication, social programming and skills leveraging, the Nigerian Reunion Corporation hopes to enhance the strength, unity and honor of Nigerians
About Us
The Nigerian Reunion Corporation (NRC) formed in 1999, is an energetic, organization that uses creative social and professional programs to positively promote Nigerians in the Diaspora. The NRC draws on a broad cultural and professional diversity of her member associates in promoting the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria and the African continent. NRC associates are committed individuals from all works of life, ranging from college students, to entrepreneurs, and working professionals.
Objectives
The NRC is an organization committed to the following objectives:
- To promote cooperation and professional networking among Nigerians, Nigerian descendants and people world-wide.
- To promote unity and interaction of people through a national reunion conference.
- To provide assistance to the poor and the needy
- To provide enriching educational and cultural workshops for the public.
- To promote awareness and appreciation for the diverse culture of people worldwide
QUICK HISTORY:
NRC was established in 1997 and attracts more than 3,000 urbanites to the annual reunion festival. The Annual program attracts young and mid-level career professionals with disposable income. The typical reunion attendee ranges between their early-twenties and up to their mid-forties. Young families are also typically in attendance.
NRC has remained consistent in its effort to bring together Nigerians around the world. With a proven track record, NRC remains the only organization able to garner support from a diverse group of Nigerians and Nigerian friends around the world. With extensive research and deference to public opinion, the annual program locations are either a locale with a high concentration of Nigerians or a place where Nigerians want to visit.

NRC PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
Annual Nigerian Arts Culture and Music Festival
This is a celebration of Nigeria showcasing the complete scope of our art, culture, music and all things Nigerian. This program highlights the many facets of the richness and uniqueness that is Nigeria. This program remains the foremost event for all Nigerians in the Diaspora.
Empowerment Series and Professional Seminars
This program is in seminar format giving by subject matter experts in various professions to enlighten on career paths, provide networking opportunities, offer potential employment recruitment and empower providing tools to attendees to become viable and productive members of society.
Nigerian Town Hall Meeting
A forum for Nigerians to discuss current events relevant to the Nigerian community back home and that affects Nigeria as a member of the world community. This program is facilitated by community leaders and politicians and allows attendees to dialogue on matters affecting Nigeria .
Nigerian Image Awards
The Nigerian Image Awards is an opportunity for NRC to honor those Nigerian who are impacting local and world communities through their achievements. This award recognizes extraordinary people of Nigerian descent in music, arts, service, education, sports, Engineering, Public Health and many other walks of life.
Night of 1001 Laughs
The first Nigerian comedy show in the United States showcasing an all Nigeria cast of comedians. Participants have included, Julius Agwu, Basketmouth, Helen Paul, I go Dye, Seyi Brown, Gina Yashere, Jedi to list just a few. This comedy show remains the biggest comedic program anywhere in the Diaspora for Nigerian acts.
Rippin’ the Runway - AFROFUSION
Rippin’ The Runway blends the unique artistic worlds of fashion, music, and our culture. This fashion show features models walking the runway showcasing designs by some of the hottest African designers to live musical performances.
Nigerian Musical Concert
The first event of it’s kind to create a stage and an opportunity for Nigerian musicians to perform in the United States . Participants have included, M.I, Daddy Showkey, Onyeka Onwenu, Wande Coal, Dbanj, Don Jazzy, Banky W, Kush and many others. Additionally, up-and-coming musicians such as Janelia, Sestor, Ibrahim Samande, Kuku, Riz and more have also been featured performers. This event is a showcase of Nigerian music.
Nigerian Picnic Jamboree
The picnic is a true kaleidoscope of Nigerians. A family styled picnic that showcase live musical performances, cultural dances, poetry, athletic competitions and various other activities in celebration of the Nigerian people and culture. This program presents a forum for musicians, poets, visual artists, culinary artists, jewelry designers, clothing designers, businesses including banks and money transfer companies an opportunity to promote their wares while activities including soccer, music, food, plays and more are taking place. This is one of the many networking and socializing opportunities presented by NRC.
